Mischkultur, Joiseph 2019
‘Gemischter Satz’(field blend of Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Muscat Ottonel, Neuburger, Traminer, and MullerThurgau) Burgenland, Austria.
‘Mischkultur’ means a ‘mix of cultures’ and represents both the biodiversity in these particular vineyards as well as the diverse group of people that take part and help in the Joiseph project. People that support each other, plants that support each other. Symbiosis.
A soft, clean wine with a lovely salinity. Very easy drinking and a tip for anyone who fancies a twist on a typical Grüner.
